Lunt Roman Fort - Gladiator School!
Take to the arena this Easter and learn how to fight as a gladiator in our Ludus Gladiatoria (Gladiator School)! Various dates until Thursday 9 April.
Visitors will be taught how to battle as one of a variety of distinct gladiatorial styles and then be put to the test in the arena! After the dust settles, craft your own clay keepsake to take home. All (safe) weapons, armour and craft materials are provided.
You will also be able to explore a unique reconstructed fort – climb the Eastern gateway, explore the granary building and discover the only known Gyrus inside a Roman fort!
Recommended for ages 5 - 12, but all are welcome.

Coventry Half Marathon and 10K

Lace up for an exciting day of running as Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All returns with the Coventry Half Marathon and 10K.
The Half Marathon will get underway at 9:00am, followed by the 10K at 9:30am offering the perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, whether you’re aiming for a personal best or taking on your first race.

St George's Day celebrations
Giant dragons, Morris dancers, music and a vibrant mix of folk and creative activities will bring Broadgate to life to celebrate St George’s Day, as Coventry City Council hosts two free events.
The fun-filled, drop-in event on Thursday 23 April will run from 11am – 3pm and is open to all, with Morris dancers and giant walkabout dragons adding to the atmosphere.
Celebrations will continue on Saturday 25 April with a second free event, where families with children of all ages can enjoy a fantastic day of music, hands-on arts and crafts, and giant dragon characters roaming through Broadgate.
