Central Library will be hosting the Humans Not Heroes mobile listening station, presented by China Plate and Coventry University throughout the month of March.
Humans Not Heroes is a co-created series of seven audio pieces made with artists and healthcare workers exploring their experiences of the Covid pandemic. Participants were from a variety of roles and experiences, from up and down the country.
These pieces are emotive and designed to be intimate listening experiences. You can either listen to them online from the comfort of your own home or pop into Central Library from Sunday 8 to Tuesday 31 March to sit down and listen to the artworks in the mobile listening station, which will also be exhibited at Allesley Park Library from Monday 13 to Thursday 30 April. Each audio artwork is BSL interpreted and captioned.
