SMEs in the West Midlands are being encouraged to sign up for support through Business Growth West Midlands and the Business Energy Advice Service (BEAS).
Eligible businesses can get a free energy audit with an advisor to help identify any potential ways that the business could lower their energy bills, which can include things like replacing lighting for more energy efficient bulbs, installing solar panels or replacing older and more energy-consuming boilers.
The advisor can then help the business to apply for government grant funding to help towards the cost of any changes.
If you're interested, you can find out more about BEAS, or attend a free short webinar on Tuesday 18 November at 12.30pm to hear all about it.
Is your business ready to take the next step in its growth journey? Applications are now open for the upcoming cohort of the Coventry Investment Readiness Programme, starting later this year. This is your last chance to join a programme that has already transformed the fundraising journeys of numerous Coventry start-ups and scaleups.
Coventry City Council is inviting proposals from operators to design, build and operate padel courts at two of the city’s most popular parks - War Memorial Park and Longford Park.
This exciting opportunity includes a 15-year commercial lease (subject to negotiation) for each site, with food and beverage provision also permitted at Longford Park.
We’re seeking ambitious operators to deliver a minimum of four courts at each site, helping to make this rapidly growing sport accessible to Coventry residents and visitors alike. Applicants are encouraged to include Go CV pricing offers as part of their community access provisions.
Deadline for Expressions of Interest: 12pm, Friday 14 November 2025.
Submissions must be made via the CSW-JETS portal – full instructions are available in the guidance document.
Join Coventry City Council’s inspiring community project this November—The Great Blitz Build— a powerful creative initiative celebrating the resilience and unity of Coventry during the Blitz. We invite local businesses to support and participate in building a spectacular large-scale cardboard reimagining of Coventry Cathedral, led by internationally acclaimed artist Olivier Grossetête.
Taking place at Drapers’ Hall from 10–15 November 2025, this project offers a unique opportunity for your team to engage in meaningful community collaboration across daily workshops, with no prior artistic experience needed. By getting involved, your business will help commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Blitz while promoting values of remembrance, resilience, and solidarity that define Coventry. Whether by encouraging staff participation, or promoting the event, your support will make a lasting impact.
