Care Workforce Pathway: Driving learning and career progression
The Care Workforce Pathway provides the first recognised framework for job roles and career pathways in adult social care, identifying the knowledge and skills required for each role. It helps providers find suitable learning and development opportunities for staff, recommending learning based on an individual’s role, ambitions, and the service provided.
The Department of Health and Social Care is developing resources with its delivery partner to help care providers adopt the pathway, including guidance and templates for career conversations.
