GO Guide
We have now sold out of the print edition of this publication, and it has been removed from sale on our Bookshop. With the potential that the CQC might make some light revisions to their assessment process next year, we have no plans to print additional copies for the foreseeable future. However, the guide is still available as an exclusive PDF resource for our Registered Manager Members.
Whilst the GO Guide is not currently available as a printed resource, our Registered Manager Members have access to the full 300-page PDF edition to use with their services. The PDF edition will continue to be updated to reflect any light changes to assessment that the CQC may introduce in 2025.
General Information
Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate and funding
The Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is an Ofqual-regulated qualification aimed at setting a baseline care standard, reducing repeat training, and recognising the professionalism of the care workforce. Digital skills form one of the key criteria.
Employers can claim funding for the qualification through the Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). We recently ran a webinar which covered all things LDSS - you’ll find the recording on the Skills for Care website.

Between now and February, we’re hosting a series of online community of practice sessions to increase digital confidence and technology skills for occupational therapists, social workers, principal occupational therapists and principal social workers who work in adult social care. The topics that will be covered are:
- what does artificial intelligence (AI) mean to me?
- digital leadership
- the internet of things.
