A new interactive tool “Which skills are employers seeking in your area” has been published by Office for National Statistics (ONS). This tool allows us to learn more about which occupations were advertised the most in Coventry up to August 2024, and how many residents have the relevant skills to fill these jobs.
You can find out more, Which skills are employers seeking in Coventry:
- In August 2024, the number of live job adverts in Coventry rose to 3.1 per 100 working-age residents (aged 16 to 64 years), from 2.5 adverts in August 2023.
- From April to June 2024, adverts for metal working production and maintenance fitters made up 2.3% of all job adverts, the most advertised jobs in Coventry.
- From April to June 2024, adverts for vehicle technicians, mechanics and electricians made up 2.0% of all job adverts, the second most advertised jobs in Coventry.

A refreshed postcodes list, with the Coventry geographies/localities in which each postcode located has been published.
It was developed for the purpose of matching postcodes areas to statistical and administrative geographies. It includes all postcodes within Coventry as taken from the National Statistics Postcode Lookup August 2024, Office for National Statistics.
