A series of new comprehensive reports on the current health and well-being of residents in Coventry has been launched.
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) brings together evidence about the health and wellbeing of Coventry residents, to help leaders across health and care understand and work together to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Coventry. The Citywide report explores what is happening in Coventry and how communities can work together via a One Coventry approach to improve peoples’ health and wellbeing.
As well as the Citywide report, the Insight team have also created local reports setting out what life feels like in different parts of Coventry. Each JSNA profile focuses on the communities in each area, whether they have access to a good network of friends and family. Prospects, whether residents in the area have access to good jobs and education. The environment, what the neighbourhood is like and access to green spaces and the health and wellbeing of residents.

Whether it’s better roads, improvements to parks, support for carers or helping people who become homeless, there are services in Coventry that are more important to different people.
Councils across the country are battling rising prices and increasing demands on their services and Coventry is no different. This adds to the pressure on the 700 services we deliver every year.
At the same time, as a Council, we know that we cannot do everything we would really like to, but we can make sure that we give everyone the opportunity to have a say in how we build our budget for 2025 and 2026.
We have put together a survey to help us understand your views and ensure they are embedded into our future financial plans.
If you can spend a few minutes to complete the survey. We would love to get your thoughts. The deadline for responses is Wednesday 6 November.
