Welcome to your Autumn 2024 Cycle Coventry newsletter
We're delighted that our Adult Cycle Training programme has been extended to the end of 2024. We have also introduced additional levels to help people continue their training journey or accommodate different abilities.
We still offer our popular beginner sessions, but you can also polish your on-road skills if you are an experienced cyclist looking to gain more confidence in mixed traffic situations.

We want to give everyone the opportunity to tell us what you think about our proposals to deliver some services differently by bringing them together in communities and developing One Coventry Community Hubs.
We want to provide positive and joined-up experiences for people accessing services, ensuring needs/ issues can be identified and support provided at the earliest possible stage and in the most effective and efficient way.
We are proposing to do this by making the most of our buildings and people – bringing services together in shared spaces whilst reducing the number of buildings we operate from.
Make sure you have your say in the One Coventry Services consultation and tell us what’s important to you. Please visit https://letstalk.coventry.gov.uk/one-coventry-services to find out more about our proposals and give us your views by filling in our short survey or attending a face to face/online workshop.
The deadline for responses is 4 November.
If you’d like any further information or have any questions, please contact us at onecoventry@coventry.gov.uk

We want to thank everyone who cycles in Coventry for making the city a better place by choosing a healthy and sustainable mode of transport.
When using shared paths, please remember to ride carefully around pedestrians and dogs, making sure you are able to slow down and stop if necessary. A friendly bell ping can help people be aware of your presence, but don’t assume that people have heard you.
On all cycle tracks and shared paths, please be mindful if drivers have already started to pull out of driveways across your path, and be prepared to slow down or stop if necessary. Remember, it may be difficult to see you if the road or path is busy or there are lots of trees or bushes.
We would also like to remind drivers and pedestrians to look both ways when crossing cycle tracks and shared paths. Please also be vigilant, and listen out for bell pings, as this can mean a cyclist is trying to warn you of their presence.
