50 years of Carers Trust Heart of England

This October Carers Trust Heart of England are celebrating 50 years and are holding an Anniversary Ball on Friday 11 October at The Windmill Hotel.

Did you know if you or someone you know is an unpaid carer, you can register for a free Go CV card and be entitled to Go CV+ the highest level of discount for Coventry residents on partner events, activities and attractions? 

All you need to do is register with the Carers Trust Heart of England who will provide you with a letter to confirm you are a carer then ensure your Go CV account is upgraded with your status to get Go CV+ level of discount.  You can then easily upload a copy of your carer’s letter.

Skydome 25th Anniversary

We're delighted that our Adult Cycle Training programme has been extended to the end of 2024.  We have also introduced additional levels to help people continue their training journey or accommodate different abilities.

We still offer our popular beginner sessions, but you can also polish your on-road skills if you are an experienced cyclist looking to gain more confidence in mixed traffic situations.

Free holiday activities and food programme – are you eligible?

The HAF programme gives those families who are eligible for free school meals the chance to take part in fun and enjoyable sessions during the holidays, all with food provided.

There are still around 1,600 Coventry children who qualify from the free sessions that aren’t yet signed up to benefit. Register now to benefit in time for the Christmas holidays.

We want to give everyone the opportunity to tell us what you think about our proposals to deliver some services differently by bringing them together in communities and developing One Coventry Community Hubs.

We want to provide positive and joined-up experiences for people accessing services, ensuring needs/ issues can be identified and support provided at the earliest possible stage and in the most effective and efficient way. 

Make sure you have your say in the One Coventry Services consultation and tell us what’s important to you.
