 British Kabaddi Championships 2024 - FREE ENTRY
Coventry will host 15 matches at Centre AT7 this week from Friday 3 - Sunday 5 May.
Kabaddi enthusiasts and sports fans alike can look forward to witnessing some live action and spectators are invited to attend to cheer on their home side Coventry Chargers, sponsored by Coventry Building Society, on the national stage.

Running alongside the BKL Championships, Centre AT7 will be hosting family fun days on the Saturday and Sunday between 11am - 4pm.
This includes some free swimming sessions on Saturday, but you must book your space by emailing At7pool@cvlife.co.uk [limited spaces available].

 Coventry Sphinx Bowls Open Day open invitation
Pop along to the Club, Sphinx Drive, just off Siddeley Ave, CV3 1WA on one of their ‘free’ open days to meet some members and try your hand at bowls.
▪ Sunday 5 May between 2-5pm
▪ Bowls’ Big Weekend - Sunday 26 May between 2-5pm
▪ Or pop along on any regular club night - Tuesday's from 6pm
They have a great mix of members ranging in age from their 30’s to some in their spritely 80’s, showing bowls really can be an activity for all ages.
All you need to take part is a pair of flat soled shoes/trainers (with as little tread as possible), the club has sets of bowls available to use, and members will be on hand to explain the basics to help get you started.
You're never too young to bowl and first year membership only £10!

 National Numeracy Day
Wednesday 24 May is National Numeracy Day, and the Adult Education Service are offering a number of short courses, aimed at adults who may want support with maths skills for work or everyday life.
All maths courses, as well as a wide range of other courses, are currently advertised in the latest CHOICE magazine.
