Mission Accomplished have two free training courses that have just launched as part of the Create Central Skills Accelerator. The training is aimed at upskilling West Midlands residents to support the screen industry, ensuring there is local talent, with the necessary skills to produce world leading content.
 Step up to HOD
This first course is aimed at all production and crew who are looking to make their next role a step up to HOD and/ or a leadership or management role. This could be on scripted, unscripted, animation or film, in any department.

 Film and TV Fusion
The second programme is delivered in partnership with BOA Stage and Screen Production Academy, aimed at those with no previous experience in Film or TV, across all departments. The course is designed to prepare participants to work in both unscripted and scripted TV in the West Midlands.

FSB Coventry networking breakfast
Wednesday 7 February, 7am - 9am
Join the friendly and informal breakfast networking meeting at Baxter Baristas. This is your opportunity to meet with other entrepreneurs, self-employed and small business owners to continue to network, collaborate and support each other. All attendees will have the chance to introduce their business in a supportive, unpressured environment.
FSB Business Bootcamp

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) Business Bootcamp and Networking event returns to Coombe Abbey in March 2024.
This free to attend interactive event will provide the opportunity to share your top tips with fellow small businesses and is a chance to hear from inspirational speakers to help you develop and grow your business in 2024.
The theme is ‘Boost Your Business’ and the event will be a chance to hear from expert speakers as they provide top tips and advice that you can implement in your business straight away. The event is designed to benefit entrepreneurs, the self-employed and small businesses.
The event will also offer plenty of opportunity to network with other local businesses during the day. Exhibition stands are also available.

Access Fund provides you with a 50% grant
Are you a charity or social enterprise based in the West Midlands?
Access Fund might be a perfect fit for you. Delivered by CWRT, it offers loans with up to 50% grants for charities and social enterprises that are working to improve the cost of living crisis and are looking to offer paid for services and products to become more financially resilient.
You can apply for a loan between £20,000 and £40,000 and receive a grant of up to 50%, but don't wait too long as grants are offered on a first come, first served basis to organisations meeting the criteria.
Limited funds are available so please apply before Thursday 29 February to receive funds this financial year.

With the Local Communities and Enterprise (LCE) Fund is delivered by Coventry & Warwickshire Reinvestment Trust (CWRT) and can be used to fund nearly any business expense. Maybe you are looking to fund your New Year's projects and resolutions to advertise and gain new leads, or simply increase your cash flow. LCE could be the right option for you!
LCE is a business loan for Warwickshire based businesses, part funded by Warwickshire County Council.
