The quarterly empty shops survey of Coventry city centre's prime retail area took place in April 2023, a total of 58 shops units were counted as empty. This means that the total number of empty units is five higher than it was it was in the last survey in Q4 2022.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has updated the Census 2021 data, Person-level data combining multiple variables is available now. You can choose and change the area type and coverage of Census 2021 about: demography and migration, housing, labour market and travel to work, education.
The provision of Unpaid care and protected characteristics is also updated, with comparisons with Census 2011 data.
Census Maps tool is updated with the the ability to view data in the form of a dot density map, to see the density and distribution of people or households by different characteristics. It is an interactive map tool that visualises Census 2021 data on different topics down to area and neighbourhood level.
