Welcome to our Green Business Programme newsletter!
This was a very busy month for the team, as we juggled finalising claims and conducting energy audits, alongside delivering another GreenTalk Live webinar.
Additionally, we also provided assistance to our colleagues in launching the Council’s draft Climate Change Strategy for Coventry.
The details of our next webinar have been announced and we are delighted to see already a very high level of interest! This will be the last webinar from the Green Business Programme funded by the European Regional Development Fund. We will announce two final face to face events soon, so make sure you keep up with the latest news by following us on LinkedIn and Twitter!

The Council has launched its draft Climate Change Strategy for Coventry and is talking to organisations, businesses and the community about what it means for them and how they can support it.
The draft strategy sets out the foundations for creating a sustainable zero carbon city, and the local authority now wants to discuss it with local people to deliver a community engagement programme over the coming months.
The Council says the strategy must protect the most vulnerable making sure they are supported while also maximising the economic benefits of the new jobs that the green industrial revolution will bring.
