As businesses, you will invest in, procure from, and partner with many suppliers along your journey. These may be for goods, services, or construction works. Choosing your suppliers is a powerful and tangible way to embed sustainability in your business. However, that is easier said than done.
We have created a guide which acts as an introduction to sustainable procurement, with explanation of key terms, standards and certifications to look out for, important tips to consider, and signposts to find further information.
Anchit and Disha are two MA Service Design students at the Royal College of Art, London. They’re currently working on a project that is looking to help businesses decarbonise their operations by making tangible the commercial benefits of a long-term reduction plan along with providing support in finding vendors and applying for green loans/grants. They have developed a prototype website and are looking to get feedback from businesses such as yours to make their proposition and tool better. Do take a look at their webpage and please fill in the feedback form at the end.
