200 days until International Children’s Games marked with launch of Team Coventry logo competition

ICG 200 days to go

With just 200 days to go until the Coventry International Children’s Games 2022 (ICG 2022) begins, the ICG 2022 Team has launched a search for a logo to represent ‘Team Coventry’ throughout the Games.

All Coventry students, aged 4-16 years, are being asked to design what they think would make the perfect Team Coventry logo to represent our city. Each student may enter one design and all schools have been sent information on how to take part.

The new Team Coventry logo will appear on sports kits and uniforms for our city’s participants during the Games.

We can’t wait to see the entries!

Search is on for 2,022 inspirational people to carry the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton around England

B2022 batonbearer

The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games has launched a search to find 2,022 Batonbearers for the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay in England and we’d love to see people from Coventry take part.

The Queen’s Baton Relay is a tradition that builds anticipation for the forthcoming Games by celebrating, connecting, and exciting communities across the Commonwealth and shining a light on untold stories and unsung local heroes from the places it visits.

We know there are plenty of unsung heroes that would be great nominees.
