We are talking about CityFibre the organisation investing £72m to roll out full fibre broadband infrastructure right across Coventry to make it one of the best digitally connected places on the planet.
Full fibre brings an end to dropped calls and the dreaded buffer symbol and allows everyone in your home to work, play, game, and stream… seamlessly.
Think you already have full fibre? The chances are you haven’t - if your router connects to a telephone socket, think again! You’re probably using a network that was designed to carry sound and that’s not ideal for today’s data-hungry homes!

Residents of Coventry now is the time to demand better broadband – and get it! If you want your broadband to give you the greatest levels of reliability and speeds – now it is possible.
But we’re not selling anything – honest! CityFibre puts the infrastructure in place, allowing you to access full fibre broadband through a range of local internet service providers (ISPs) who deliver the service. In Coventry we are currently working with Vodafone, TalkTalk, Zen and Gigabit Networks and more providers are expected to join our network soon – so the choice will always be yours.
What you need to do next?
To be in with a chance of winning the fantastic bundle worth £350, all you have to do is enter your details using this unique link for Go GV cardholders (takes less than a minute). CityFibre will then let you know when full fibre is available in your area and from which service providers. Last year two lucky Go CV cardholders won prizes, Lyn received a £500 tech bundle in the spring and just before Christmas Darryl won a £250 kitchen bundle – this time it could be you!

You can read the full Terms and Conditions online, but the main things you need to know are that you must be aged 18+; you must have a Go CV account, the competition is strictly one entry per household and the winner must consent to publicity – that’s only because we want to show you that competitions like this have real winners. Only entries received between 1 February and 31 March 2022 will be valid.
Coventry Rugby Club has joined the growing Go CV family and will be offering money off tickets for home games until the end of the current season.
All Go CV card holders will be able to get a 20% discount on all tickets for the remaining five home games – this includes tickets for both adults and children (under 3s go free).

Coventry City of Culture Trust and the Herbert are delighted to present “Be Yourself; Everyone Else Is Already Taken” by the Coventry born artist, designer and activist Daniel Lismore. This exhibition in his hometown is the first time that his work has gone on display in the UK.
The exhibition features a major installation ‘An Army of My Life’, which takes inspiration from the Terracotta Army, and features 50 3D sculptures, each of which are modelled on the artist and include a cast of his face - manifestations of Lismore’s life living as sculpture.
Running from Friday 18 February until Sunday 26 June 2022 at The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum.
