Coventry Library Service and Coventry UK City of Culture 2021 are recruiting for two exciting honorary roles as part of the BBC Contains Strong Language Festival, BBC Arts’ poetry and spoken word festival, which is taking place in Coventry this year.
There are two workshops being run by Midlands Poets to support and inspire potential applicants:
- Coventry Young Poet Laureate: Be inspired to write and apply with Liz Berry: Saturday 29 May 2021
- Coventry Poet Laureate: Be inspired to write and apply with Roy McFarlane: Saturday 12 June 2021
The deadline for applications for both Coventry Poet Laureate and Coventry Young Poet Laureate is 12noon Monday 19 July 2021.
