Coventry Sports Challenge is back!

Sports Challenge

Cash For Kids, the charity of the radio stations Free Radio and Greatest Hits Radio, has joined forces with the Council to bring back the Coventry Sports Challenge.

The fundraising challenge aims to increase access to sporting activities for local children from disadvantaged backgrounds.

In 2019 the Coventry Sports Challenge raised over £35,000, helping to ensure hundreds of children from across the city were given opportunities that, due to their circumstances, were ordinarily not available to them.

Sports clubs and groups from within the CV1-CV6 postcode areas are invited to apply to take part in the Challenge. Finalists are given four weeks to fundraise in the most creative, innovative, and safe ways as they can.

In addition to the funds they’ve raised, the top three fundraising finalists will win extra funding of £3000, £2000 and £1000 respectively. Further prizes are awarded for best use of social media and the most creative fundraising idea.

Details on how to join this session, along with all the Sports Challenge application details.
