Go CV celebrates - March 2021

2nd birthday

Happy Birthday Go CV

There are 51,000 residents celebrating as Go CV marks its second birthday.

Although we all need to continue to follow guidelines to limit the spread of COVID-19, there's still lots of opportunities for Go CV cardholders to benefit in the weeks and months ahead as restrictions ease.  Residents will soon be able to make active use of their card again across a range of great Coventry facilities, sports, culture, arts and events.

Be ready and ensure your Go CV account is fully validated - you can email us your proof of address and benefits.

In the meantime, follow the guidance and stay safe.

Online Exhibition Launch – Gearing Up: From Saddle to Spoke

More cycles were made in Coventry in the 1890s then in any other city in the world; and during that time it was referred to as the ‘Cycle Capital of the World’. From the introduction of the earliest cycles, the allure of freedom and speed that they offer has been a positive part of our culture. See unique highlights from our collection and take a curator-led tour to discover the evolution to the revolution of the cycle.

You can find out more on the Culture Space Coventry website.

COVID-19 Roadmap

Coronavirus restrictions remain in place across England

On Monday (29 March), a second milestone on the national roadmap out of the COVID-19 pandemic was reached. The current restrictions are:

  • Only socialise indoors with people you live with or who are in your support bubble
  • Up to six people or two households can meet outside
  • Work from home if you can and only travel when necessary
  • If you have symptoms get a test and stay at home

We are all learning to adapt to changing regulations over this period so as each key date approaches the Council outlines what this means for you.
