As you are aware, yesterday the Education Secretary, Gavin Williamson, announced that statutory key stage 1 and key stage 2 tests and teacher assessments planned for summer 2021, including the key stage 2 tests in reading and mathematics, will not take place.
At this point, we are awaiting clarification on details of any further requirements on schools. As a result, we have to cancel the KS1 and KS2 statutory assessment briefings scheduled for next week on 12 and 13 January.
We will keep you updated as further information becomes available. In the meantime, should you require any further support or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us – jenny.shepherd@coventry.gov.uk.
