The run up to Christmas is going to be very different this year. As the city prepares to move into Tier 3 of the national COVID guidelines, it means some venues remain closed, but there are still ways to exercise and work off all those festive goodies!
You can even enjoy some of our city's great attractions, all from the comfort of your own home. There are a few ideas below, and keep up to date on the Go CV website.

 Go CV launches festive draw for new cardholders
Go CV hopes to help get Christmas covered this year by running a free-to-enter festive draw in the run-up to the holiday season.
A reminder every adult and child needs a card of their own so now is a great time for other family members to register. It's easy to do - here's the guide to setting up your family group.
Why not share the joy and tell your family and friends too in case they've missed it?
Be in win a chance of winning a food hamper full of your festive favourites and a limited edition Visit Coventry 2021 calendar. These are available to purchase online.

This December, the Belgrade Theatre invites you on a giant on-screen adventure as Jack and the Beanstalk Online brings the magic of panto direct to your home – and we’re offering you the chance to win a watch-at-home ticket for your family!
This one-of-a-kind festive experience is written and directed by the Belgrade’s regular panto Dame Iain Lauchlan, best known outside Coventry as the creator of the BAFTA-winning The Tweenies.
Packed with seasonal silliness, spectacular costumes and amazing special effects, the show will be available to stream via the Belgrade website from 1-31 December, and we’re offering you the chance to WIN a ticket to stream the show at home.

Congratulations to Sian from Spon End
Earlier this month Go CV welcomed its 50,000th member.
Sian, a social worker for older people, has won a prize bundle consisting of tickets for the magical winter light trail Luminate at Coombe Abbey Park and The Wave indoor waterpark, together with a festive hamper supplied in partnership with FarGo Village.

Go Parks are running a free-to-enter prize giveaway which is open now and will close on Monday 14 December.
The Go Parks Giveaway can be entered during a visit to your local park.
Simply look out for a Go Parks banner or poster in noticeboards, scan the QR code, and complete the form.
Banners and posters can be found in 18 parks, with each ward in the city covered.
The Go Parks prizes up for grabs will be revealed soon but expect to see some popular physical activity gadgets and equipment.
Please adhere to government guidelines while visiting and exercising in the parks.

CV Life centres due to re-open
Following the recent Government update the fitness suites, swimming pools, swim lessons and sports at Xcel Leisure Centre, Centre AT7, The Alan Higgs Centre and The Wave will reopen on Wednesday 2 December.
Reminder to use your Go CV card to receive discounts on admission prices, and even more savings for Go CV+ cardholders.

Learning is not only for children
There are still courses available for 2020 as well as the new spring term which can be booked from January 2021.
If you would like to refresh your skills or learn something new the Coventry Adult Education Service offer a whopping discount off course fees for Go CV+ cardholders (formerly Passport to Leisure) with some even being FREE of charge.
Check out the list of socially distanced courses available online. For instance, a 'Computer Skills for Improvers' course would cost a Go CV+ cardholder just £8 for a 10 week course - that's a massive 88% saving off the standard price.
There's a huge variety - you can try Tap dancing for £5 or Dressmaking for £8.

Important COVID-19 information - did you know?
Even during the current lockdown, it’s still really important to get a test if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, no matter how mild.
There are plenty of tests available at our five testing sites across Coventry. These include drive-in, mobile and walk-in test centres.
