Cllr Kevin Maton, Cabinet Member for Education and Skills, said: “We know as a Council how vital it is to support all of our young people and to make sure each has a clear, practical route to be able to achieve their ambitions.
I would like to thank all those in schools and colleges with responsibility for supporting our young people. It has never been more important in these uncertain times for us to give that help and assurance and I’m delighted these latest figures demonstrate the work that is taking place.”
