How many days can you get on your bike between 6-14 June?  Whether you cycle to work, to the shops, for exercise, or just for fun, Cycling UK are encouraging everyone to stay safe and share their rides using #7DaysOfCycling and #BikeWeekUK for a chance to win.

Coundon Cycleway Consultation

Take a look at the consultation plans for Coundon Cycleway and share your views by 5 July. The 2.75km fully segregated cycleway connects the city centre with Coundon Green along Coundon Road and Barker's Butts Lane.  This is part of a package of plans to improve air quality

Supporting cycling and walking

Coventry is part of a West Midlands bid to central government for infrastructure to help more people walk and cycle as public transport capacity remains limited. The bid also includes plans to resume cycle training and provide support for cycling to work over the summer once funding is confirmed.


Free cycle parking for businesses & organisations

Do you know a local business, education centre, hospital or community organisation that needs cycle parking at their premises?

Let them know that they can apply online for FREE cycle stands. The Transport for West Midlands scheme offers to deliver free bike racks to up to 100 local organisations.

Special thanks to local bike shops and mechanics for going the extra mile to support key workers riding to work, as well as meeting the needs of the many local people who are getting back in the saddle again or for the first time.

 


Places to Ride - apply for funding

Places to ride

British Cycling is inviting applications for Places to Ride funding from organisations that are developing cycling activity in their community, and looking to provide traffic-free opportunities for people to participate.

Places to Ride aims are to inspire people to ride, connect the community and build a lasting legacy.
