There is life in lockdown

Stay home save lives

We hope you and your families have been keeping well and staying safe during the lockdown - 2020 will certainly be a year to remember!

In this issue, we'll be highlighting a few of the things you can still do at home to keep happy and healthy.

If there's anything you've found that's particularly helpful and want to share it with others, don't forget to tag us on Facebook and Twitter!  We might share your idea.

During the lockdown period, we are making it easier for anyone needing to validate their account by providing proof of address or a receiving benefit whilst our sign-up centres are closed.

You can send copies by email to gocv@coventry.gov.uk from the email address registered to your account and you'll get confirmation it's been validated.  Copies of your documents in our email will be deleted.

In the meantime  #StayHomeSaveLives.

Exercising outdoors while social distancing

Our parks are still open for you to enjoy your daily exercise, although their car parks remain closed.

Please observe strict social distancing and keep at least two metres apart, don't arrange to meet up with people that don't live with you and only go out once a day for exercise.

In many of them you'll see helpful banners giving you a visual reminder of how two metres look.  Remember under government guidance play areas within parks are closed.

West Midlands Network has put together some tips on how to safely walk, run or cycle outdoors whilst social distancing.
