The Council has recently approved an Additional Licensing scheme that will require all HMOs in the city to be licensed from 4 May 2020. The Council is not proceeding with Selective Licensing at this time.
The Council is running a number of events to promote this HMO licensing scheme and provide a summary of the requirements. This will also be an opportunity to have any of your questions answered so if you are a HMO Landlord and would like to attend, find out more and book your place.
The Council’s payment system is being upgraded. As a consequence, we will not be able to take any payments over the telephone or via the website from 6.30pm on Thursday 27 February until 10am on Monday 2 March.
