Big Classroom - free trial scam

Please be aware of a scam being run by Big Classroom - further information is available on trustpilot

If you have signed up for a trial, please be aware that under their terms and conditions you need to give 7 days written notice BEFORE the trial runs out, otherwise you will be billed for a year’s subscription. They give you 7 days to pay the invoice, quoting a £40 admin charge and interest at 8% over the period that you don’t pay.

Willmott Dixon have designed an enrichment programme for students to gain an insight into the world of construction. The programme is aimed at year 8 students but can be adapted to suit different year groups.

Peacemakers - youth violence: what can schools do? (12 March)

This half-day INSET will give school staff the opportunity to think more critically about peace and conflict in their schools. It is funded by the Police and Crime Commissioner and delivered by Peacemakers in partnership with Minus Violence. They are suitable for colleagues in Primary, Secondary, FE settings and staff working in Alternative Provision.

Governor conference - 1 April

The LA, Governor Support Service and Coventry Governors' Association are holding a Governor conference on Wednesday 1 April 2020 from 9.00 - 4.00pm in the Welcome Centre. Further details including booking information will be shared in the coming weeks.  The focus of the Conference is SEND and Youth Violence Reduction in the City.
