Recruitment round - LLEs

We are excited to announce that as part of plans to build capacity for local school improvement work, the Teaching Schools in Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire are working collaboratively to again recruit Local Leaders of Education. Those appointed will work in a range of schools, on various school improvement initiatives. We seek to appoint high calibre leaders to these positions, usually those who are Head Teachers or Principals or those who have been involved extensively in whole school improvement.

For more information, please contact Emma Hatton (Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire Teaching School Council sub-regional Chair) ehatton@solihull.tgacademy.org.uk or your local Teaching School. Alternatively, you can download the application pack and reference form.

The closing date for applications is 10 January 2020.

Norton Foundation

Norton Foundation - further information

Norton Foundation - previous projects

CCC Education have been contacted by the Norton Foundation, a charity that funds support for young people under the age of 25 in Coventry and the local area. Every five years, they offer a large capital grant of up to £250,000 and they are seeking proposals from local organisations who are planning capital projects. The closing date for applications is 14 February 2020. If a school is planning to submit an application, they will need to make education.consultations@coventry.gov.uk aware prior to application for the purposes of a partnership approach and grant agreement.

Teaching Vacancies

Teaching Vacancies is a free, national search and listing service developed by the DfE for publicly funded schools to publish teacher vacancies, and for jobseekers to search for their next career move.

Teaching Vacancies has been introduced to help schools reduce the time and money spent on recruitment advertising, offering real-time recruitment where schools can directly upload and edit vacancies. We are encouraging all publicly-funded schools / Trusts in England to sign up for the service now.
