Support for children, families and professionals where there is a concern about a young person possibly at risk of or being criminally exploited.
Previously looked after children in Reception to Year 11 are eligible for Pupil Premium Plus (currently £2300 per year). This funding is generated via the school census and goes directly into school.
You might already use a school newsletter to invite adoptive parents/guardians to declare this (confidentially if required). If not, this guidance might be used to help your school claim this useful funding. Please contact Coventry Virtual School if you would like any further information about claiming this funding and how it can be used to support the education of previously looked after children - virtualschool@coventry.gov.uk.
