The DfE has funded training to provide gang awareness information sessions for professionals and organisations that work or come into contact with young people.
The aims are to raise awareness of issues around gang affiliation and those on the periphery, and to share experience and expertise to steer young people onto positive paths and away from gang related activities.

The Primary Mental Health service in Coventry are providing free mental health workshops for professionals. These workshops will address key areas of child and adolescent mental health, including mood, attachment, self-harm, eating disorders and Boomerang training.

Opportunity to Gain a Leadership and Management Qualification Funded via the Apprenticeship Levy
CMI Level 3 is aimed at team leader/supervisor in a first line management role, with operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. They provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals. Key responsibilities are likely to include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans, resolving problems, and building relationships internally and externally. This training programme will be delivered over a 12-15 month period.
CMI Level 5 is aimed at managers who are accountable to a more senior manager or head of department and are responsible for the operational and/or policy delivery of the organisation’s strategy. This training programme will be delivered over a 18-24 month period.
