Getting the Most out of FFT Aspire

Getting the Most out of FFT Aspire (Primary) –  1 May 10am – 12noon for Heads or Assessment Leads (one place available per school)

Getting the Most out of FFT Aspire (Secondary) –  1 May 1pm – 3pm for Heads and/or Data Managers  (up to two places are available per school)

This two hour presentation-led session will outline the key features of FFT Aspire and guide schools through how to maximise the benefits of the system to support pupil progress and school improvement.

This session, bespoke to Coventry LA, will also include the latest developments to the system, FFT Education Datalab’s School’s Like Yours tool and also an overview of FFT’s Aspire Pupil Tracker.

Note: Delegates will need to bring a copy of their school’s FFT Aspire School Dashboard.  You will not need to log into the system at this session.

Free migrant mental health training opportunity

Coventry City Council is pleased to offer a free training course to frontline practitioners across the city, looking to focus on and address issues of migrant mental health and wellbeing.  

The training is one-day (10am-4pm) and fully-funded. Places are limited and being carried out on various dates across the city. Use the following links to book a place on the date of your choice:

Coventry Public Health and Wellbeing Awards

As part of the Year of Wellbeing 2019 Coventry’s Public Health Team is launching an awards scheme recognising the hard work that goes on across the city to improve health and wellbeing. The awards will be judged on work that has happened during 2018-2019.

We would like to invite you to nominate your school for a Healthy School Award. A shortlist in each category will be invited to attend the awards ceremony in July where the winner will be announced by Coventry’s Lord Mayor. 

Please use the electronic nomination form to put forward examples of some of the great work you’re aware of within the award categories.

All nominations must be submitted by 17 April 2019. 

Additional NPQSL cohort - June 2019

Due to popular demand, Coventry Teaching School’s Council are putting on an additional cohort of the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) starting in June 2019. 

This programme is for those who are, or are aspiring to become, a senior leader with cross-school responsibilities. This nationally recognised senior leadership development programme will provide the skills, knowledge and confidence you need to be a highly effective senior leader in a school.

NPQSL is a qualification that provides national recognition of your leadership development and professional achievement as a senior leader.
