Beake Avenue Open Day - Sunday 30 April 2-5pm

Beake ave before

Don't forget - it's the open day at Beake Avenue this Sunday. We started on this project just over a year ago and have come a very long way since then. If you can't remember what it used to look like, check out the photo on the right. And what does it look like now...? Only one way to find out.

See you Sunday.

CV5 work session - Tuesday 2 May 2-5pm

CV5 sowing

And work will very much be continuing at our other site - CV5. We've been sowing and digging like mad over the last few weeks and will be concentrating on getting some stuff (potatoes, turnip seedlings, etc.) in the ground. This is the best part of the year if you ask me (apart from harvesting, of course) so get yourselves along and help us out.

There will be tea.

Foraging workshop - Wednesday 10 May 1-5pm

foraging

This one is always a popular one. Join us for this walking workshop to discover the basics about wild plant foraging. The walk, led by foraging expert, Sam Sender, will begin on Warwick University Campus. From there we'll walk to our new growing site, CV5, in Chapelfields (by way of Canley Ford) identifying and gathering edible plants. At CV5 we will be joined by The Pod - Coventry cafe team who will help us cook up some of what we've found.
