EM Forster is best known for his exquisite novels, but his short story masterpiece published in 1909 is astoundingly prophetic and poignant in 2016: a chilling prediction and exploration of our increasingly complex relationship with technology.
In a dystopian world where humans have retreated far underground, Kuno alone questions their now total dependency on technology to live and communicate with each other, but in his struggle to break out can he reach the Earth’s surface before the Machine stops?
Featuring a brand new soundtrack composed by John Foxx, pioneer of electronic music and founder of Ultravox, and analogue synth specialist, Benge.

Coventry’s Tourist Information Centre is on the move next month –
to a smart new home at The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum.
Staff will be moving from their present home in the
Cathedral Tower to the new base just across the road from Saturday 1 April.
The move will mean people looking for information to get the
most out of their visit to the city will have more room, an on-site café,
toilets and a gift shop at one of Coventry’s top tourism venues.
There will still be the same expert local knowledge and
helpful visitor leaflets on a range of attractions and subjects, but a little
bit of added comfort as well!
The new centre will be open from 10am-4pm Monday to Saturday
and from 12noon-4pm on Sundays.
Coventry Cathedral will continue to operate the popular
‘tower climb’, which is due to re-open in May after refurbishment work.
If you can’t call in at the centre, but need some help and
advice, call 024 7623 4284 or e-mail tic@culturecoventry.com.
Visit The Herbert website for more information and what’s on.
