The Centre for Cities have just published their annual health check report on UK cities, Cities Outlook 2017. This year’s report explores how much the biggest British cities export, which goods and services they specialise in, and where the exports go. It reveals that Coventry is amongst the highest ranked cities in terms of how much local businesses export, these exports are concentrated in the automotive industry and the destinations are less likely to be in the EU than the average for British cities.
