CHANGE OF HOUSEHOLD WASTE RECYCLING CENTRE OPENING TIMES
You are being contacted because you asked to receive information about Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs).
The HWRCs opening hours will be changing from 1 October 2025 to the winter opening times (1 October to 31 March).
Opening times for Chester, Ellesmere Port & Winsford (Primary sites):
- Monday to Sunday 8am to 4pm
Opening times for Northwich & Frodsham (Secondary sites):
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm
- CLOSED EVERY WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY
Opening times for Neston & Tattenhall (Secondary sites):
- Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8am to 4pm
- CLOSED EVERY TUESDAY & WEDNESDAY
Please remember to separate your recyclables from non-recyclable waste before you arrive on site to save time and prevent queuing.
Please make sure you arrive at least ten minutes before sites close to give you enough time to unload your recycling and waste.
It is important to remember that all sites close on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. The gates may be closed before the closing times to allow those on the site to dispose of their waste.
