GARDEN WASTE COLLECTIONS – DETAILS OF HOW TO SUBSCRIBE FOR THE 2025 SERVICE
As a previous garden waste subscriber, we are writing to let you know that you can now subscribe to this year’s garden waste collection: Garden waste collection | Cheshire West and Chester Council
Garden waste collection is an opt-in chargeable service costing £52.50 per bin per calendar year regardless of when you subscribe during the year. This charge is not included or added to your council tax bill (and we can only collect garden waste bins from those who have chosen to subscribe). If you are in receipt of full council tax reduction at the point of applying for your annual permit, you are entitled to a £10 reduction on the cost of one garden waste bin permit.
The service will provide fortnightly collections over 40 weeks of the year. Garden waste bins will not be emptied without a valid subscription and displayed permit. Collections in 2025 will take place between Monday 24 February 2025 and Friday 28 November 2025. You will be able to view your garden collection dates once you have subscribed to the 2025 garden collection service Collection day | Cheshire West and Chester Council
