Provider Portal
The imminent upgrade of the provider portal will include three types of 2 year old funding:
2 year olds of working families – can claim up to 30 hours of funding.
2 year old NEW of families who are in receipt of certain benefits, but where both parents are also working - can claim up to 30 hours funding.
2 year olds of families who are in receipt of certain benefits – can claim up to 15 hours of funding.
‘2 Year Old New’ – guidance for childcare providers
Once the provider portal opens following the system upgrade, 2-year-olds from families receiving additional support should provide a 6-digit eligibility code. If entered, ‘Eligible for Funded Hours’ will be confirmed via a green tick and the ‘check eligibility for 2-year-old receiving additional support funding / Child Eligible’ button will be greyed out.
 If a code has not been provided, settings will be able to run an eligibility check based on the details held on the parental declaration form. Before running a check, ‘Additional Support’ must be ticked on the Parent/Carer Details tab.
Autumn term 2025 data
As published in last week’s bulletin, the provider portal will now open on Tuesday 15 July for Autumn term data. Unfortunately, this is due to an unexpected error with the upgrade provided by the software supplier, please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause; however, the circumstances are beyond our control.
