A year of reflection in highways...
Green Season
Did you know that we maintain approx. 5.8 million square metres of roadside grass verge on Cheshire East's adopted highway? 'Our Growing season' begins in March until November so you will see us out and about during this time!
We cut grass to help road safety and make sure there is good visibility at bends and junctions, to keep road signs clear, and to give room for people to pass on the pavement.
If you think grass cuttings are causing a hazard on the footway you should make a report to us under the 'street sweeping' category.

St Anne's Primary School Donation
As part of our continuous attempts in giving back to the community, during March we visited St Anne's Catholic Primary School in Nantwich to offer donations of materials no longer in use which can be used for multiple activities with the pupils.
Alongside some of our supply chain partners, we donated materials such as cones, water barriers, tyres, drainage pipes and wooden pallets. All donated materials were not longer in use and can be used by the school for multiple playground activities with the pupils.
Supporting polling stations
We have worked closely with election teams to minimise impact during any works programmed and routine activities, we have also alerted them to any immediate activities that may impact the polling stations.
Polling stations are plotted onto one.network and are taken into consideration when reviewing planned works to ensure they remain accessible to all.
Award success!
