SENCO networks – Wednesday 30th March 1.30pm & 31st March 9.30am and 6.30pm
This is your last chance to book your place at one of our SENCO networks which are taking place on Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st March. You will have the opportunity to hear about our new SEND procedures and paperwork, including submitting a request for a consultation, applications for SEND Inclusion Funding and monitoring and recording children’s development. There will also be an opportunity to meet other Early Years SENCOs to support and share best practice.

Don’t worry if you missed this term's Let’s talk twos network! This is an opportunity to catch up with us on 'Let's Talk Twos - revisited' where we will be talking all about the child’s voice and 2’s in Action.

What is my behaviour trying to tell you? - 20th & 27th April, 9.30-11.30am or 6.30-8.30pm
This is our newly revised two part behaviour training suitable for all Early Years practitioners and will provide you with the skills and knowledge to develop your understanding of how to support children’s social and emotional needs.
Making sense of Autism – 28th April 1-3pm
This session is suitable for all Early Years practitioners to learn how to identify the four key areas of difference that need to be taken into account when working with children on the autism spectrum and how to help them to build positive relationships with staff and their peers. You will also learn about how children on the autism spectrum can be unusually sensitive to everyday sights, sounds, touch, tastes and smells which can affect their learning and emotional state.
Learning Language in the Outdoors – 3rd May 1-3pm
Delivered by our Specialist Speech and Language Therapists, this session shares the research behind learning in the outdoor environment and introduce our new group activities booklet containing lots of exciting, practical activities to support children's communication skill in your outdoor space.
Standing in the shoes of a 2 year old – 4th & 11th May, 9.30-11.30am & 6.30-8.30pm
This is our new and revised two year old training and is suitable for all practitioners who work with two year olds. In session 1 - ‘Getting to know me’ we will cover the role of the key person and how children like to learn. In session 2 - ‘Building an environment that is right for me’ we look closely at the physical and emotional environment for two year olds and supporting their feelings and emotions.
