A number of roads have been closed, please remember to:

Sandbags

If your home or business is at risk of flooding, you may wish to consider purchasing sandbags before flooding happens to help protect your property. Please bear in mind that sandbags only provide limited protection against flooding and are most effective before flooding takes place.

At the Council, we only stock an extremely limited amount of sandbags. They are only issued to protect life, critical infrastructure and buildings including hospitals and to support the emergency services.
