Covid-19 Local Testing Site to open in Loughborough
A walk-through Covid-19 testing site will be opening in Loughborough.
The semi-permanent site, known as a Local Testing Site (LTS), is being set up in Limehurst Avenue and is due to open on Friday, September 25. It is likely to remain for several months.
Local Testing Sites are designed to supplement existing testing routes such as regional and mobile testing units. They are part of a national network being created by government. Charnwood Borough Council has assisted by providing this site.
The site offers walk-through appointments only. Appointments can be booked at nhs.uk/coronavirus or by calling 119.
