Leicestershire County Council close household waste and recycling sites

Leicestershire County Council announced over the weekend that they will be shutting various recycling and waste sites across Leicestershire.

So far, Loughborough, Bottesford, Somerby, Lutterworth and Shepshed sites are temporarily closed until further notice. Updates can be found on their website.

They are operating their recycling sites using government guidelines to encourage social distancing. This may involve restricting the number of visitors on site at any one time.

With this in mind, please only travel to their recycling and household waste sites if absolutely necessary.
