Recruitment Workshops
If you're interested in joining #TeamCambsFire as a firefighter, but don't know where to begin, come along to one of our workshops. Each workshop covers a different topic and you can come along to as many or as few as you want. They'll be held in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Wisbech.
Workshop 1 - We will explore the entry criteria for a wholetime firefighter, the format of the application form and how we shortlist applicants.
Workshop 2 - We will look at the next stage of the recruitment process, which includes the online aptitude tests, medical, fitness and swim assessments. We will share with you some training tips to help with the fitness and swim assessments.
Workshop 3 - We will focus on the final stages of the recruitment process, which includes the occupational ability assessments and the final assessments. We will share with you details of the occupational ability assessments and give some interview pointers!
All the workshops will have a general Q&A session, and cover the role of a firefighter and the benefits of joining Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.
All the dates can be found on the website.
