Aims and Objectives: By the end of this training we hope that participants will be aware of the different types of eating disorders, how to identify eating disordered behaviours, and how to support individuals with eating disorders.

LGBTQ+ Awareness and Mental Health workshop for Parents
Thursday 8th February – 6.00 pm – 8.00 pm Virtual
Outline of session
- Understanding gender and sexuality
- Terminology and language – why is it important?
- Challenges around being LGBTQ+, what society tells us… Law, adopting risker strategies, coming out etc.
- The best ways to support young people identifying as LGBTQ+

Leighton Buzzard Children's Centre - Mondays 10 – 11:30
A fun session for families who have children with special educational needs and disabilities to meet other families and to get support and advice from our Early Years SEND Team. No diagnosis needed. Parents without children in attendance are welcome to attend.

Dunstable Children’s Centre - Wednesdays 10:00 – 11:30 am
For children with SEND, siblings welcome. No need of a formal diagnosis, a safe space where you can meet other parents.

Flitwick Children’s Centre - Thursdays 1:30 – 2:30 pm
A fun group for children with SEND and their Parents and Carers. Explore our wonderful Children’s Centre while spending time with other parents/carers and young children who have additional needs.

Houghton Regis Children’s Centre - Fridays 10:30 – 12:00 pm
Informal stay & play for parents/carers of children with SEND, no formal diagnosis needed. Talk with other parents/carers, professional support available. No need to book, just come along!

Sandy/Biggleswade Children's Centre - Tuesday 19 September, 17 October and 5 December 1.30 - 3.00 pm
A stay and play session for children under 5 with their parents and carers. Parents welcome without children to attend for support and advice from our early years SEND team.

A place to play, talk to other Parents and Carers. Professionals from the Early Years team and family workers will be here for support and information.
