Your health and wellbeing matter to us. Whether you work in an office, remotely, or on the frontline, a range of support services are available to help you stay healthy, safe, and supported.
Our Occupational Health Service provides professional advice and support for employees experiencing physical or mental health concerns that may affect their work. The service can also offer guidance on workplace adjustments, managing health conditions, sickness absence, and returning to work following illness or injury.
We also offer a variety of Wellbeing Support Service, including access to mental health resources, counselling support, wellbeing advice, and information to help you manage life's challenges both inside and outside of work.
Throughout the year, we promote a range of health and wellbeing initiatives, including awareness campaigns, health events, and practical resources designed to support healthier lifestyles and improve overall wellbeing. Read the latest Health and Wellbeing Newsletter (August 2026).
Seeking support early can often help prevent issues from becoming more challenging, so we encourage all employees to make use of the services available whenever needed.
If you would like to find out more about Occupational Health, Wellbeing Services, or the support available, please speak to your manager or visit the employee wellbeing pages. We are also looking to expand our network of Mental Health First Aiders, with new training opportunities coming soon.
Support is available, confidential, and there when you need it.

We are delighted to share that Dave Clark will be taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon 2026 in support of Tŷ Hafan Children's Hospice, a charity that provides vital care and support to children with life-shortening conditions and their families across Wales.
Tŷ Hafan's mission is to ensure that no family has to face their child's short life alone, offering support through a child's life, death, and beyond.
The Cardiff Half Marathon, taking place on 4 October 2026, is one of the UK's most popular running events, attracting thousands of participants each year to take on the 13.1-mile course through the Welsh capital. By choosing to run for Tŷ Hafan, Dave is not only setting himself a significant personal challenge but is also helping to raise much-needed funds to support the charity's essential services for families throughout Wales.
Training for a half marathon requires dedication, commitment and perseverance, and we would like to wish Dave every success as he prepares for race day. We encourage colleagues, friends and supporters to get behind his fundraising efforts and help make a difference to the children and families who rely on Tŷ Hafan's care and support.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help Dave move closer to his fundraising goal while supporting an incredibly worthwhile cause.
Good luck, Dave, from all of us! We look forward to cheering you on every step of the way.

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete the recent Staff Survey. Your feedback is invaluable and provides us with an important opportunity to better understand your experiences, celebrate what is working well, and identify areas where we can improve.
The survey results are now being analysed at both a corporate and departmental level. This will help us gain a clear understanding of the themes emerging across the organisation as well as the specific issues and opportunities within our own Directorate. Your views will help shape future priorities, improvements, and actions.
We are committed to listening to your feedback and ensuring that it leads to meaningful conversations and positive change. Once the analysis has been completed, we will share the results with you, outline the key findings, and explain the actions we plan to take in response.
Thank you once again for your honesty, engagement, and support in helping us continue to make our workplace the best it can be. Your voice matters, and we look forward to updating you on the outcomes in the coming months.
