Local businesses set to benefit from summer business roadshow 2026
 Tourism and hospitality businesses are invited to attend the Summer Tourism and Business Roadshow 2026 on 30 July at the National Botanic Garden of Wales. Access expert advice, practical workshops and one-to-one support to help your business grow. Free to attend, but places are limited and must be booked in advance.

National media boosts profile
We continue to increase awareness of the County by working with national titles, with excellent tourism features achieved in the Telegraph, Times and Sunday Times whilst in June we arranged for the Sun newspaper travel journalist to visit on a full to the brim 5-day family itinerary. A huge thank you to all the businesses that worked with us to make this visit a success.

Carmarthenshire stars on Channel 4
Filmed at numerous locations across the County and the sequel to Channel 4’s Light in the Hall TV drama series, Still Water (Y Golau) is currently being shown on Channel 4 and is the headline graphic on their catch-up service. We worked closely with the production team in scouting locations, securing permissions and road closures to make the production go as efficient as possible.

Free training with Business Wales
Tourism and hospitality businesses can join Business Wales webinars covering start-up, finance, marketing, funding, digital skills, HR and growth. Sessions can be booked online or via email, with deadlines three days before. Many courses support business growth from ideas through to expansion.
