Tourism campaign momentum continues to grow
Our “Sisterhood”tourism campaign continues to perform strongly, it has now reached over 7.5 million digital impressions and achieved more than 300,000 website visits making it one of our best performing campaigns.
We’re delighted to share a link to a Sisterhood article featured in The Guardian Online this week following a recent press visit, reaching an audience of 18.4 million monthly digital readers. We’ve also received very positive feedback from the Daily Mail, who visited last week, with publishing dates to be confirmed. In addition, influencer activity linked to the media visits featuring Llio Angharad has been highly successful, generating over 250,000 views on Instagram alone.
This work is supported by the UK Government Shared Prosperity Fund, and the momentum continues with further press and influencer activity planned.

First Carmarthenshire wedding showcase is a resounding success
Organised by Carmarthenshire County Council’s Tourism Development team, the first Carmarthenshire Wedding Showcase, held at the National Botanic Garden of Wales, brought together more than 100 wedding professionals from across the county. Venues, accommodation providers, suppliers, registrars and celebrants took part, showcasing the strength, creativity and diversity of the local wedding sector.
Featuring over 35 exhibitors alongside inspiring presentations and practical digital workshops, the Showcase encouraged collaboration, sparked new partnerships, and shared fresh ideas for future growth. The event also coincided with the launch of Carmarthenshire’s new wedding directory and a campaign, promoting the county as “the most romantic place in Wales.” The targeted campaign, which went live before Christmas, runs over key romantic periods including Santes Dwynwen and Valentine’s Day, supporting local businesses and highlighting Carmarthenshire as a top wedding destination.
