Community Clean-Up Success

Littering hot spots throughout Caerphilly County Borough have been successfully cleaned by volunteers.

Caerphilly County Borough Council teamed up with Caru Cymru to organise Community Clean-Up events in Lansbury Park and Cwmfelinfach earlier this month and proved successful, with members of the public and volunteers working alongside the Community Cleansing Team to help tackle litter.

The Clean-Up saw bags of litter as well as discarded items such as tyres, a barbecue and even a car seat removed from woodland areas such as embankments and disposed of correctly

Report a missed bin collection

There are a number of reasons why we may not have emptied your bin, these include: Your bin was put out for collection late. Your bin must be at your collection point by 6am on the day of collection. Your bin contains the wrong items. What goes in my bins? The wrong bin was put out for collection. What day is my bin collected? Your bin was unsafe to move, (for example it was overweight, broken wheels or broken base) Request a new bin Your bin was overflowing. If the lid does not fully close, any excess waste will be placed back into the bin.
