Caerphilly Library Service Bulletin - October 2021

Welcome to the first issue of the Caerphilly Library Service eBulletin.  We want to keep you updated through the year with the latest library news and stories we’re sure will be of interest to you.

Please tell your friends and family to sign up: more subscribers allows us to reach more residents in the county borough and spread the message that our libraries are for everyone and are here to support you.

As best-selling author Caitlin Moran wrote, “A library in the middle of a community is a cross between an emergency exit, a life-raft and a festival. They are cathedrals of the mind; hospitals of the soul; theme parks of the imagination. On a cold rainy island, they are the only sheltered public spaces where you are not a consumer, but a citizen instead.”

We would appreciate your feedback on the e-newsletter and if there is anything you would like us to include or clarify then please let us know by emailing libraries@caerphilly.gov.uk

Please note: You will receive this bulletin in Welsh in a separate email.
