Caerphilly CBC Building Control Team in partnership with Coleg y Cymoedd are offering anyone in the building trade the chance to grab a coffee and a bacon roll and learn something new.

Council investment multiplied in local economy An innovative approach to procurement in the Caerphilly county borough has seen a council investment multiplied within the local economy. In 2013 Caerphilly County Borough Council entered into a 10 year partnership agreement with Robert Price Builders’ Merchants to supply the materials needed for its £220 million Welsh Housing Quality Standard (WHQS) improvement programme.

Spotlight on digital connectivity in South East Wales The focus was on key issues such as the roll out of fibre broadband, 5G connectivity, and the impact of the UK Government’s Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme - which is providing support to small businesses and surrounding local communities towards the installation costs of a gigabit capable connection.
