Green Festival celebrates its 5th year at Coronation Park, Eastwood

Our popular Green Festival returns to Coronation Park in Eastwood on Saturday 19 September between 12:00pm and 3:00pm!

This will be the event's fifth year, offering a fun and accessible afternoon filled with family-friendly activities, practical ideas for helping the environment, and opportunities to discover local green initiatives, alongside a selection of food vendors serving vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

We’ve had a busy summer with Summer Fun Days, live music from Friday18 in Beeston and Kimberley, Proms in the Park and the start of the D.H. Lawrence Festival.

Broxtowe Women's Project domestic abuse information event

Come along to the It Takes All Of Us domestic abuse and VAWG (violence against women and girls) information event to find self-guarding advice and information on debt management, suicide prevention, and more.

  • Broxtowe Borough Council Chambers, Beeston

This is a great opportunity to network with colleagues from health, sport, education, emergency services, and the voluntary and community sectors, including Broxtowe domestic abuse and VAWG service providers.

You’ll also get to see the new and updated Broxtowe Youth Homelessness (BYH) White Ribbon display, now including safety advice around the home including tech abuse awareness, as well as hear about the new resources being developed to support safer access to sport for women.
